The music of Watengwa answers the question: What happened to Hip Hop?

It moved in with the Watengwa family in Arusha, Tanzania. They have more passion and talent then all the corporate artists topping the charts in the Western World combined. And they have purpose.

Those who make a fortune propagating the ridiculous machismo fantasy in Hip Hop today should sit down and break bread with these folks. And listen.

Their music is featured on the Children of Kenya soundtrack.
